Middle QA Engineer

Requirements
- Experience in web applications testing 2+ years;
- Strong knowledge and understanding of QA best practices and different testing types / methodologies;
- Experience in creating and supporting test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports);
- Experience in managing tasks and defects using task-tracking system (preferably Jira);
- Experience collaborating dedicated teams;
- Understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles (experience would be a plus);
- Understanding of CI concepts;
- Strong knowledge and experience working with databases and SQL;
- Understanding of Rest API (experience in API testing would be a plus);
- English — intermediate level or higher (written and spoken) is a must!
- Basic C# knowledge and experience with Selenium WebDriver would be a plus ;)
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with Agile team. Participating in the daily meetings. Direct communications with the distributed team members;
- Gathering and analyzing the requirements;
- Estimation of the QA efforts;
- Creation and maintenance of the test documentation (checklists, etc.);
- Functional, regression testing;
- Reporting and verifying the defects;
- In the future development towards UI automation (ready-made utilities for UI testing), API test automation.

About the Project
A customer portal for a big telecommunication service provider. The portal provides information for business customers about subscribed services and details about utilization of those services. With a great help of customized events, schedules, notifications, etc., the portal users are up to date with their expenditures and needs. The portal basically is a Web application that communicates to myriad of back office systems through web API (REST and SOAP) and presents tons of information on a robust and user-friendly UI.
